Aspen Chef, Entrepreneur and Restaurateur Mawa McQueen is a 2022 James Beard Award Semifinalist
The world’s premier culinary awards are back for the first time since the pandemic began in 2020 – and Aspen’s own Mawa McQueen is on the list of semifinalists for Best Chef. The awards ceremony takes place on Monday, June 13, 2022 in Chicago. The James Beard Foundation’s Best Chef Awards were established in 1991 and provide recognition for the world’s top chefs. Chef Mawa represents gastronomic excellence for the USA’s Mountain Region.
